Situated 25 metres from the esplanade

Anchor apartment is ideally located,and well appointed just a stones throw from the esplanade, and a two minute walk to the centre of town.

The apartment faces south west with sea views in one direction and views over the croquet lawn and cricket pitch in the other. 

The accommodation sleeps 4/5 in two spacious bedrooms. A king size double bed in the back bedroom. Twin  single beds in the front bedroom with sea views, with a coffee table and easy chairs in the bay window for you to relax and watch the world go by.

Central heating and all linen is included

Reservations are normally from Sunday to Sunday

 Can be arranged on a daily basis should other bookings allow.

 However a minimum of three nights are usually required. 

Your apartment will be ready for you from noon on your day of arrival. 

Please vacate by 10 am on your departure date.

The car park can also be accessed from the rear of the apartment 

Just moments walk from the esplanade, a gentle stroll along  to Jacobs Ladder, Connaught Gardens or perhaps a short walk into the town centre. At the Anchor apartment you will be perfectly situated to explore Sidmouth on foot.

By car (and there is a secure private parking space waiting for you!) or bus (the terminus is 30 metres away) you can explore further afield. 

The Dorset and East Devon World Heritage Jurassic Coastline is just at the end of the Esplanade. For the fit it can be accessed by foot along the coastal path via Branscombe and then Beer, famous for its quarry caves and stone, (which was used in the construction of Exeter Cathedral). Also nearby are the Donkey sanctuary, Seaton Tramway and the  Lockyer Observatory.

Further away by road there is the historic city of Exeter and from there you may go on to explore the wild beauty of Dartmoor.

To maintain a high standard we do not accept pets or smoking in the apartment.

Sidmouth is a beautiful quintessential seaside town with stunning views, offering award winning gardens and leisurely walks with a regency history,and clean beaches. There are plenty of attractions including, bowling green, croquet, tennis courts, golf club,museum and an indoor swimming pool. The town also has a wonderful choice of restaurants, public houses and tea shops, a cinema, theatre and numerous small independent interesting and different friendly shopping establishments.
